The creative process is only enhanced with transparency and communication.
Soper Designs kicks off with a one-hour onsite consultation where we will walk through your plans or space itself and talk about you - your vision, your ideas, your lifestyle, your needs and more.
From there, we will present a custom design plan for your project with tiered estimates (good, better and best) to create your sophisticated, sensible space.
The design presentation, complete with mood board and rough estimates, is yours for a flat fee of $350.00 that may be applied to your project balance should you decide to move forward with us.

MEET JEAN
Founder, Soper Designs
Married to her highschool sweetheart and mom of three gorgeous girls, Jean has always had an eye for the beautiful things in life. From regularly rearranging her childhood room to designing custom shelving to make up for limited closet space in her sorority house, she knows how to create a space that marries sense with style.
Raised in Richmond, VA, Jean graduated with a BA in Political Science before kicking off a career in Account + Project Management. During her tenure, she managed a multimillion dollar client and was named among the esteemed ranks of the Affinion Loyalty Group President’s List of Top 10 employees.
After six years of the corporate stiletto sprint, Jean hung her professional hat for the most rewarding job of all - raising her family. During this time, she started night classes in what would become her newfound calling: interior design.
In 2007, the tribe moved to Charleston, SC. Jean stretched her design muscles in crafting and curating every square inch of their new Daniel Island home. To date, her home has been featured by Charleston Home and Design and showcased on Today’s Builder.
In 2015, when her youngest daughter, Wren, started kindergarten, Jean found a revived energy to redefine herself and began working as the Director of Vendor and Client Relations for a Daniel Island Custom Home Builder. These years taught her tricks of the trade, how to marry design and function, and allowed her to build lasting relationships with a number of area experts.
She enjoyed some behind the scenes success when house plans that she relined and had an architect redraw were submitted to Southern Living and featured as” The Soper” in the 75th Anniversary Best House Plans Issue.
In 2018 she decided to step out from behind the curtain and found her full-service interior design firm, Soper Designs. Basing relationships in collaboration, communication and trust, Jean is committed to creating a space that simply makes her clients feel special.
